Sprint SST & Planning Obeya

What is this template about?

I put this board together with a team that I work with, with the intention of creating a single source of truth, or Obeya, for project that we were working on. As such it includes a Kanban planning board (standard Miro board) to which I have added a Goal Planning, Story Splitting and Mapping, Product Roadmap, Learning and Discussion, as well as a space for including Client Strategies and OKRs for visibility purposes.

How does it help?

One of the most important and troublesome parts of keeping track of a project or product build is maintaining a single source of truth. In coming up with a solution to this need, I worked on the concept of creating an Obeya to retain all information pertaining to the project in one place. This has the advantage of enabling us to maintain cross-team awareness of project-related materials, including knowledge resources, etc.

Who would benefit from this template?

In my experience of using this board with the team that I work with, we have benefitted through its simplicity and effectiveness. There are other solutions for sure, but in my opinion, having a single source of truth/Obeya, in which to store all of our project-related material, including planning, has been really useful and has elevated our team awareness and responsiveness to our client's product objectives and strategic and tactical requirements, and enabled us to make good decisions on what to do, what to pause, and what to leave to a later project.
