Ecosystem Mapping Rings

Report

Visualize your organization's relationships by mapping key stakeholders, from your core team to the broader ecosystem. Reflect on where trust and engagement are strongest and where new opportunities for connection exist. This exercise helps you focus efforts on deepening meaningful relationships and strategically expanding your impact. 🧭 Purpose

This tool helps you and your team visualise your organisation’s living ecosystem — not as a market of buyers, but as a web of human and non-human relationships that hold, shape, and support your impact. By mapping where trust and engagement are strongest (and where it’s missing), you can refocus your energy to deepen connection, grow mindfully, and prepare for regenerative investment.

🪞 What You’ll Create

A clear, shared visual map of your ecosystem showing: ✔ Where strong relationships already exist ✔ Where energy may be spread too thin ✔ Where the potential to deepen trust and reciprocity lies

🔍 Reflection Prompts (Discuss or Journal)

  • Where do we already have deep, trusting relationships?

  • Where do we see untapped potential to cultivate a niche?

  • Are we overextending in any layer (e.g. trying to serve too broadly without depth)?

  • How do we feel about our relationship with place, land, or context (Ring 9)?

🪴 Pro Tips

  • Use arrows or colour codes to show strength or direction of relationships (e.g., mutual trust, one-way value flow, dormant link).

  • Make this a team dialogue, not a data dump — invite story-sharing.

  • Don’t strive for perfection — aim for shared insight.
